While away, I was pleased to a get pics of an amazing placement by my helper back home. Off the side of a train bridge, strategically placed with the help of a paint roller. Simply incredible. Thanks Mike.
Haunted Overload in Lee, NH might just be the greatest place on earth. They don't let you take pics inside, so the amazingly jaw-dropping pics from the outside will just have to do.During our trip through New England I decided to bring two jacks to place in cool locations. This location, in Stowe Vermont is called Annie's bridge. It is said that a young teenage girl named Annie hung herself from the bridge when her lover left her. It is known as one of the most haunted locations in Vermont. Though we didn't experience anything, it was sure a good place to leave the jack. Tons of people drive through it, and can't avoid seeing the grinning face in the dark. So the previous day's pic was taken at a place called Gingerbread Castle. This set was taken at a place called Fairytale Forest, also closed down. A friend also helped out with this one. Such great shots, and still creepy.
During my travels I have enlisted the help of a friend or two to place a few jacks. This was taken at a place called Gingerbread Castle. Long closed down and rotting away. Welcome to your nightmares kids! A giant decaying egg!!
I've never really been sure what this building is. All I know is we have know it as The Witch House, for as long as I can remember. It sits along a busy road, looking ominous and evil. So obviously, it must have some orange added to it.
I know it's very cliche, but I had to take these shots. I happen to have the jack in the back of my car as I was returning from a show in the city. Danzig to be exact. So here is the resulting cookie cutter pics. What's next? A pumpkin near the Rockafeller Christmas Tree?
Sometimes the best ones are the random ones placed where they are to distract drivers and make them second guess what they just saw.
Today while passing by the first location I placed a jack on the 1st of the month, I noticed somthing. Beside my jack that was now rotting away, were two more!! I said when I started the project that the most rewarding thing would be to find more pumpkins placed by someone other than me. Low and behold, it happened. This is just the start, but this proves that this project is spreading the spirit of Halloween. It will only grow bigger, and I couldn't be happier. Thanks to who ever you are for making my day a bit brighter. Hail The Harvest! Adam......or Linus. |
